With you all the way on this, ali (Good grief, I'm agreeing with the curmudgeon! ).

That's why I really enjoyed Good Night & Good Luck. I usually cannot follow the dialogue at the fillums these days as the sound is so distorted, but this was so 'civilised' in so many ways.

*answers*

1. "chloral hydrate!"

"The Living Daylights" - also responsible for one of my favourite all time movie quotes - "Saunders - B Section Vienna - you're late. This is a mission, not a fancy dress ball!"

This quote comes as Timothy Dalton recognizes a suspicious aftertaste in his martini and then conks out. He wakes up on a transport plane to Afghanistan.

2. "look into your heart!"

"What heart?" is the next line as Tom Reagan (Gabriel Byrne) shoots Bernie Bernbaum (John Turturro) in "Miller's Crossing".

3. "lets discuss this"

"Blade Runner". Dr Tyrell to J.F. Sebastian after Roy Batty feeds him a winning chess move. His next line is "you'd better come up". Oops.

8. "I hate communists"

"Scarface" - Tony Montana, while still in the transit camp, when he is given the opportunity to whack a fellow Cuban.

"I kill a communist for fun, but for a green card, I gonna carve him up real nice."
