Is anyone playing the excellent [War§ow]?

Its a free first person shooter based on the Quake 'QFusion' engine.

It is a totally free download, very competitive and great fun!
Sadly, I am rubbish at it...

(The download is 73.odd Mb but it is well worth it...)

I'm not sure if I can tear myself away from Battlefield 2 to play anything else, ever - ever.

A guy at my work plays Battlefield 2, but is now looking forward to the new one (2142?) and also Quake Wars (which I have seen a clip of and it looks superb).

Been playing Company of Heroes which is pretty good, a real time strategy WW2 based game.

I've got 2142 but haven't had time to play it much - been playing some BF2 mods (one turns BF2 into a racing game which is a scream)

Never heard of Quake Wars?

Is GTA the one where you get to drive around Edinburgh?

I'm getting a new PC from Dell delivered on Thursday so I'm starting to think about games. Aside from Football Manager 2007 I've not played any in years.

Is Call of Duty any good?

Couldn't find it Arachnid!!
Just opened the third island, stopped for the evening now.

Never seen Edinburgh in GTA although there are references to it
ie
a golf course named Leaf links one and as arachnid said the Forth bridges are in another one.

Rockstar the company responsible for GTA are based in Edinburgh.

Google to the rescue again! Project Gotham Racing 2

Looks like it was just an Xbox, not PC, game though. :(

Got a game last weekend called Condemned : Criminal Origins and I have to say it must be the scariest game I have played. It's quite cheap just now as it has been out for about a year but well worth a look if you like that sort of thing. It's a first person shooter where you are hunting a serial killer but you have to collect evidence at crime scenes as you go along.

Opened the third island in GTA Liberty City Stories.
I'm quite enjoying the game. It's fun going round streets youv'e gotten to know before but are doing different missions. I don't know what I'll do when I finish the game though.
I'll need to have a look out there and see what takes my fancy in PS2 games.

I finished GTA Liberty City Stories a few days ago. I'm now going back and doing some side missions etc, but I'm not too bothered about getting 100% I love doing the rampages and hidden packages but I hate doing the racing.
Anyone played any good games lately they can recommend?
I'm into games like tomb raider & of course gta. I also like things like lego star wars and ratchet & clank (not car racing).

I played a couple of the crash bandicoot games before. They're good fun They do get frustratingly difficult as they go on though. Worth considering.
