Shall we stop?" pm had you wished to do so. If star was obviously up for the argument as well, posting his imaginary scenario and knowing whatever history you have between the 2 of you.
You and Porty are to an extent interdependent - you need him, and he needs you (and gemini of course, who I think he is secretly in love with).
