Not if you had it put down. That seems the fairest thing to do all round. Surely you don't want me moping all xmas just because I'm worrying about you feeling totally responsible for keeping people homeless? Every time you look at that cat a picture of a homeless person will float into your head. Izzie, I'm begging you just ger rid now,I promise you will feel better in the long run. :roll:

Don't listen to Porty, Izzie!!! You go right ahead looking after you're baby. Yes we should think of the homeless ... after all, there but for the grace of (insert name here!) whatever deity ... goes any one of us!

I've had homeless freinds stay with me in my last flat several times and helped them get their own places and work. It's the very least I can do as a human being.

But my two cats will always be my babies!!! :)

Izzie, did you tell your cat what i've been saying? On the way home tonight not one but two cats looked at me in a really strange way and it seems a bit too much of a coincidence.

Yeah that was a great movie, well if I have the correct one.

Was that the movie about the homeless people who developed cat like night-vision to help them cope on the streets? :wink:

From Wikipedia;
Cat People is a 1942 horror film which tells the story of a young Serbian woman, Irena Dubrovna (Simone Simon) who is haunted by the myth of the cat people of her village. Kent Smith portrayed her husband Oliver Reed, Tom Conway played psychiatrist Dr. Louis Judd and Jane Randolph was Alice, Oliver's colleague.

The movie was produced by Val Lewton. The writing is credited to DeWitt Bodeen, but Tourneur, Roy Webb, Lewton and his secretary all contributed to the script. It was directed by Jacques Tourneur, and the cinematographer was Tourneur's sometime collaborator Nicholas Musuraca. It was followed by a sequel, The Curse of the Cat People, in 1944.

A remake using the same title was made in 1982. The later Cat People was directed by Paul Schrader and starred Nastassja Kinski, Malcolm McDowell, and John Heard.
The original was the best ... but anything with Malcolm McDowell in it is worth a watch! :D

I've got a festive palm tree with little seahorses for decoration. Can't risk adding choccie decorations though..

Was found out the year I scoffed the chocs and stuffed the decorations (and the advent calender) with paper to make them look as though they were still choc-filled.. Been banned from the decorating ever since :D

Maybe dig out the ols artificial tree this weekend while Mr Soupy isn't looking. He loathes it. I will point out the alternative is the white fluffy one that Clanger 1 brougt with her when she moved back home. Or the pink one that followed me home from Tesco.

There's a couple of houses in Sleigh Drive all lit up outside. And one up at Fernside that has aircraft attracted by the lights.
First saw deccies up at the end of October. See early Xmas thread.
