I loved the way the cybermen would make temporary allies then betray them.
When I was wee I wrote in to the BBC and asked for a signed photo of a Cyberman. Like, as if the BBC had time to fly a spaceship to Telos just for one kid. Duh!!
You look like a cyberman

Nothing to rival the impending terror of the Euro Song contest though, mind you.

Be honest, ecm, you and Ali have stocked up on feta cheese and stuffed vine leaves with lots of retsina (or is it ouzo

) and have switched off the phone (except to vote)!!!

It was my turn to visit Yellowcraigs for a BBQ last night, where I found myself in conversation with a guy who has been commissioned to write an episode of the next series of 'Dr Who'. I had been attempting to have what I thought was a knowledgeable conversation on writing, but at that point all my pretence of sophistication vanished. I'm sworn to secrecy about the plot, but the poor guy had to endure a barrage of inane questions from me as I asked if Billie Piper was in it and was he allowed to use any of the 'old' baddies and where was it set and......you get the picture

Penultimate episode on shortly. With the bint that hammered in Den Watts' brainbox in it. Wonder who they're letting her loose on tonight. Rose's mother I hope. More annoying than Bertie Basset in Sly McCoy's day!

I enjoyed Dr. Who last night. I think David Tennant is terrific (I hated C.E)
Are we going to get a Dalek episode (or 2 or 3)? I love the Daleks.
Did anyone else see David Tennant as Cassanova? He was brilliant in it.
(it was the first thing I ever saw him in).
Real Name
David McDonald
Height
6' 1" (1.85 m)
Date of Birth
18 April 1971, Bathgate, West Lothian, Scotland, UK
David Tennant is a respected classical actor who has performed numerous starring roles for the Royal Shakespeare Company, including Touchstone in "As You Like It", Romeo in "Romeo and Juliet", Antipholus of Syracuse in "The Comedy of Errors" and Captain Jack Absolute in "The Rivals".
He was nominated for a 2003 Laurence Olivier Theatre Award for Best Actor of 2002 for his performance in "Lobby Hero" performed at the Donmar Warehouse and the New Ambassador's Theatres.

It is starting to look like they're taking the easy 'tried and tested' route and not bothering to think up any more decent 'baddies'.

hmm not sure about the latest manifestation of the daleks at all.
Clanger 2 & 4 are of the opinion that salad was invented by the daleks as a punishment....
and they wonder why I make them take vitamins
