Love sick frogs

First picture was of Bella eyeing up her dinner and this is one of her and one of the babies as promised.

It's the first time I have ever added a photo on my own so apologies if it is too big.

Do the frogs keep the snails at bay then? If so, you could make a fortune renting them out to Marya and Dada and the like.

Yes, they certainly do ecm, but only up to a certain size. I wasn't sure if they did until fairly recently when I experimented by offering different size snails to Bella(she's a really tame frog and will take worms from my hand ) The one in the picture is about the largest she can manage so I hunt for baby snails in my front garden and transfer them to the back.

Still some baby frogs up for adoption..............not for Dada though, I have seen the evidence of Oscars exploits.
