Queens Of The Stone Age - 'Lullabies to Paralize'

And, no, Sandra didn't recommend this one from a 'certain magazine' (can I just say that Saga magazine has great taste in music  )

The music to the old "Hitchhiker's Guide" radio show.

Best banjo music ever, next to Deliverance's duel.

I've not heard any of their work since ISDN.

I am taking a note of your recommendation.

Have you ever heard "Humanoid" by Stakker ?

It's really odd - all sitars and fluttering strings, along with the odd bleep.

Stakker Humanoid is ace. I'm trying to download it now cos I've only got it on vinyl.

HUMANOID MUST NOT ESCAPE

I have a rather wonderful Aphex Twin remix of this.

At the moment I am listening to the same track over and over, because I only just discovered it and it's unbelievable.

"Soul Call" by Paul Murphy. Anyone heard this?

I have no clue when it was made but if you didn't nod your head to this one it would be because you were dead.

The version I, em, acquired is a bit short, under two minutes in fact. I was just warming up to a head nod and it was all over.

Currently watching/listening to Antony and the Johnsons on BBC4.
What an amazing voice!

Strange looking chap though. :? A cross between Benny from Crossroads and Sonia from Eastenders.

Tangerine Dream - "Dominion"

I don't think I've ever listened to this and *not* got goosebumps - either from the music or the crowd reaction at the end. Phenomenal.

This site is pretty interesting.

Put in an artist you like and it selects a playlist based around your suggestion.

Ali reckons it's a bit predictable but I knew he was going to say that.

All I really need is love, but a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt!
