(gulps) ... You know what they say ... Can't see the woods for the damn trees! What can I say ... I'm an idiot! But then, Dadaist spotted that right away!

Thank you for the welcome. I hope this is where I went "wrong" and have now corrected that.

Onward and upward! (my sense of humour will get me bloody well hung!!!)

Hello arachnid~

Your thoughfulness will remain in my heart. Thank you.

Linlithgow is absolutely beautiful. I've never been to a castle. Someday. Someday soon I plan to write poetry sitting on the lawn with a castle towing over me as I look out to sea ~

Linlithgow doesn't have a castle or any sea, but it does have a palace ruin and a loch!!!! Ideal for poetry writing!!

oh. my bad. Well, 'A man's/woman's home is his/her castle' with saltwater air to breathe in. I can't wait to be there in a raging storm while speaking my poetry into a mini tape recorder as the thunder roars and lighting comes after me!!! Pure heaven ~

Hello

Post by Black Mamba » 13 Sep 2006, 09:39

Hello folks. I've been lurking in the shadows for a while now and my friend Arachnid has convinced me to make myself known.
I guess I better tell you a bit about myself.
I am now living in Kinross and have been happily nae blissfully married for 29 years (30 this December) I was just 19 when we married, you can do the maths on that if you want.
We have three children (adults now) a daughter and two sons. Our daughter now lives down south with her partner and their baby boy who is 17 months old and running her ragged. Naturaly he's the most georgous grandchild on the planet :D (very proud Grandma and Granddad). :o
Did anyone see the hints of Porty on Rebus the other week?
ahh nostagia the hours I spent on the Joppa and Porty beach.
I lived at Hilltown but My Mum and Dad's families were in Joppa. Mum was Porty born and bred. Dad moved to Joppa when he was quite young.
Enough for now. I must be boring you. :?
Why the name Black Mamba? My clever hubby suggested it as I have a pet Corn snake and I'm a Kill Bill fan.

Hi Boo  Is that a wake up Boo or a strange neighbour Boo?
Don't worry about them on the schools. You know when you meet people and their only form of defense is to start attacking?....Well you'll get the picture.
