a+ for lighting and clarity - that glass looks like you could just lift it out of the screen!!
i have now polished off my xmas whiskies

Yeah it is, just as well I run the site otherwise it'd be getting a telling off

I only wish I got rid of the condensation!
Back to drink - I've sampling Scottish beers of late, of the hoppy type. Paying a few visits to the place of Easter Rd and the wine shop at the top of Broughton. Anyway, Williams Gold and the Nimbus Blonde and top picks.

They had Canadian "grain spirit" too, also £6. Although it was in the booze aisle, not the cleaning products bit, strangely.

You whisky lovers have to try Innis and Gun - it's beer brewed in whisky barrels (in Edinburgh). Flipping gorgeous.

Correctamundo.
Don't update to CDs though. Just buy a turntable. Sandra knows where to get them.

I actually have a turntable, but cant use it as there is a fish tank sitting on the top (it's inside a cabinet) silly idea or what ? ................but there was nowhere else for the fishtank to go
It might not be working anyway as it is a long time since I tried it.

I feel sad now, as you have reminded me of my 2 poor dead goldfish, and that beautiful yet tragic goldfish-related incident in Leeds in 1992.

Oh no...now you've set me off grieving for our poor dead Gladys the goldfish who tragically commited suicide just over 2 years ago. Maybe we should start a new "In (Pet) Memoriam" thread

Snap girls! I'm struggling bravely through without the Lemsip though and putting my faith in medicinal glasses of Brandy instead.
My son has the mumps (yes, he had the MMR...) and I'm not sure if I had them as a kid
However, I do know that Homer definitely hasn't

I've not taken flu/colds yet this winter

visited the folks last weekend and they were full of cold - thankfully we didn't catch.
Girls are much better coping with illness though

Can't decide if today's sore throat is a cold coming on or just the after effects of last night

Enough of your nonsense - get back to the Play Pen!

With my lunch I am drinking "Firefly" Peach and Green Tree which is apparently bursting with herbal extracts and I can expect to be supercharged ...it must be true cos it says so on the bottle

It tastes lovely but no effects as yet
