You're still sweet.
I don't think any of the messengerial or cleaning staff at my work get pressies from the staff.
Well, not from me anyhow.
Nor me! But with all the overtime they get, they should be buying
US pressies!!

ECM are you having an M&S Christmas?

lucky you. Yum Yum.
I think we're having a Cinnamon/Bonoful Xmas and doing the more traditional thing on Boxing Day which will include some MS purchases.

I had the same postie for years... he gave us a Chrissie card every year and I always gave him a bottle of Whiskey...just to oil the wheels and make sure the Giros arrived safely you understand

Seem to have a different one every week these days

Poppy, you are tonight's sweet person, for bringing me in a wee bottle (aspirin, I think?) of the M and S Chocolate Ruby.
It smelled b loody awful but that might be as it was before 8.00am this morning when I took a sniff.
I'm happy to report that it tastes much better than it smells.
Cheers!

Prednisolone, I think, from my last wheeze. But I assure you the bottle was well washed!!!!
Glad you liked the contents - did you sip it surreptitiously during D's concert this pm?

No, no, I sat quietly and didn't heckle like last year.
I clapped at all the required bits and suppressed all giggles.
I was great.
D's ocarina outfit were great too. Their rendition of Jingle Bells brought tears to my eyes.

I guess they're a bit easier for wee fingers than recorders ever were.
Similar sound, especially when you hit a wrong note.

Mr Poppy says "Typical"!
Explanation: he was once ecm's "boss", but therapy has helped and the two of them are almost back to "normal".

BC tried to buy this over Christmas - must have been all sold out.

But guess what, they have got it back for Valentine's Day I guess so bought him a bottle today. No doubt he will give you the verdict on taste later.

You are more than welcome to it before we chuck it down the sink.

Oh, shame! I've seen it on special offer recently.
Thanks for the offer, but have lots left - it's one of those drinks/foods that tastes good at the right time - Christmas seems to have its own favour that doesn't work the rest of the year!
I wonder if it would work in a sauce for venison as there's a few recipes for ones with choc AND red wine in them...........
