She sure has done.

When the Queen Mum was alive, her and Liz were on tour in Oz / NZ and got mobbed by fascinated locals.

Queen Mum kept her composure and was heard to utter

"please do not touch the exhibits"

Some excellent stuff on Brian Taylor's new blog :

http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/thereporters/briantaylor/

Interesting analysis about the relative autonomy of the big parties, and their current approaches to minority government and opposition.

Salmond was funny today in the parly - they had a clip of him standing up and saying "he never writes, he never calls ..."

EDIT - I have updated this link and it should now work.

Sadly, unfortunately I couldn't see this, or didn't have the patience to wait for it to download

It's 16.5 mb. I'm experimenting with a new format so some feedback would be useful. I have also posted it on the gallery at Portobello Online.

Seems to work OK for me, but I don't get any sound until the returning officer declares the result of the ballot. Is it meant to be like that?

Yeah, I edited out the background noise for the first part. I suppose I might get round to adding a commentary at some point. This is my first edit with the Mac and iMovie so it's a learning curve.

The gallery link seems to work on both PC and Mac. It runs for less than 3 minutes and should start playing within a few seconds. If anyone has problems with it please let me know.
