Is Gavin Strang's £157,571 for the year 2007-2008 justified?

And why are there not receipts for everything?

I also note he claims £400 per month for food every month (the maximum allowed).

Part of me thinks maybe this is the cost for an MP but the other part thinks it's not good value.
