Instead of Mugging Old Ladies the children of Towerbank have channelled their efforts into:

.....Becoming the first primary school in Edinburgh to receive a 3rd Green Flag award.

.....Winning the U12's Scottish Cup for seven a side football.

.....Finishing as Runners-Up in the P7 National Rotary Quiz.

.....Having poems published after entering the Young Writers Competion.

.....Producing 2 Runners--Up in the Edinburgh Fringe design a poster competition.

Just thought I would give the youth of today some positive airtime as the press usually carries only the negative stuff

They also won a silver gilt medal for their pallet garden at Gardening Scotland recently and came first in a composting competition last week.
