Stupid things that make you happy

Post by Epykat » 15 Jun 2009, 20:49

When I've hung washing on the line I like to stand back and admire it - especially if it's flapping about a bit
Enough of your nonsense - get back to the Play Pen!

Yes, I'm with you on that one, E.
That can make me stupidly happy too but only if the items are hung in order of size going from south to north along my washing line starting with bath sheets then towels working through to tea towels before moving on to shirts, t- shirts and on to vests, pants then finally socks. The socks obviously have to hang in their pairs and all point the same way.

I have the running order sorted before I leave the house.

It's an illness, isn't it?

I'm with Epy on the flapping washing
The hanging order is dictated by the bushes underneath, karate gis tend to go up in the right hand corner as it gets most sun, the socks are hardly ever in pairs as I dont get pairs of socks to wash.
I love finishing off the towels in the tumble dryer to make them fluffy

must. get. out. more

The smell of Lush, shame they closed the shop in Ocean Terminal

Can't go out! It might rain and the washing would get wet!!!

I love the fresh smell of the washing when I bring it in to iron it!!! :D

And yes, like ecm and Epykat, I hang mine out in a special order!!

Well I don't hang mine in any order and I don't have the patience to hang out socks, they get left inside, thrown over a rail...............but, I do like to colour co-ordinate my pegs, they have to be in pairs and preferably match the colour of the garment they are securing.

OMG  What have I uncovered??

I would just like to make it clear - for the record - that I DO NOT colour co-ordinate my hangings  . Neither do I size them up before they get to the line. I just like to hang them up, in any order........I'm sad but not as sad as you lot!!

Watching my torties eating their dinner also makes me very contented (what does that tell you?)

Saturday Scoop? Em, er, not much I don't think. I might have a ticket to the Take That concert at Hampden where they are being amazingly supported by the fantastic James Morrison.....but apart from that...nothing. You?

ditto, only hang out sheets, bedding and towels but sometimes lazy (i.e. most of the time and dry them indoors  )
