council pay

Post by Porty » 15 May 2009, 17:28

Anyone au fait with the latest developments on council pay and rota hours. I had hoped to catch the herald and post delivery guy last night, before he forgot me again but my bus got held up at the KR junction- don't know why?

So what's the latest on the pay front?

It doesn't really bother me. Life is full of questions, but we're all just passing through really.

We're paid far more than we're worth and anyway, after my 350 and a quarter hours overtime this month I'm laughing.
Enough of your nonsense - get back to the Play Pen!

Stuff the Council and all their overpaid employees. The big question is surely whether or not it's going to be a Saturday service on the buses come Monday?

Not that it really affects me like as I walk to work.

Yes, it is a Saturday service on Monday 18 May "(with extra buses on service 48 at peak times via RBS Gogarburn). Service 67 will run a normal weekday timetable."

Glad you mentioned it, ecm, I'll need to check out the 35 timetable.
