ah - the past is another country - they do things differently there!
No doubt things have changed - when I was at school we weren't allowed to eat in the streets when we were in school uniform. I'd love to see them try to enforce that nowadays!
Times move on and we can have a tendancy to view things through rose-coloured spectacles.

I would not necessary agree with you but I do remember being incredibly handsome away back then!

The Wangster is going to be a long in a minute and we're getting booted to the new PMOT thread in the G&TT Forum. Which may eventually become the longest thread.

If, for example, in the Schools thread you have strayed on to how attractive you used to be then you will likely find your posts here, licketty split.
Same goes if you try to discuss knitting in the Harry Lauder thread.

All nice and tidy... But "rose specs" just had to be the thread title...
Knitting would have helped the roadworks; better than the blue string...

Are you left of the dark haired girl, directly above the guitarist on the far left?

Giving no thought at all to the boy who was constantly teased at school for looking like a girl. Sandra, you probably don't remember me, but I was that boy.

What rubbish!
You are obviously the girly looking guitarist on the left. You've got a Porty T shirt on and everything.
I seem to recall you wore that very same groovy leggings/pixie boot combo that night we all went to see Mr. Echo and his Bunnymen at Newhailes.
And very lush you looked too.

Russell McIntyre back left, Craig McCall 2nd with moustache (what DOES he look like?

), Garry Darling (or his brother?) front left, is that Porty front right? (I'm a bit doubtful coz he's a bit of alright that guy

), ? Alan Wilson back right, guy holding the cup looks familiar but I obviously didn't fancy him at school so can't remember his name

Wow that must be a stark reminder of your schooldays epy - just 3 out of 7. Those were the days. And one of your work colleagues is not going to be to impressed with your identification prowess!

Wow! Didn't recognise Mr Roy at all! It's sad eh, what happens to good looking boys?
The other two I did recognise but couldn't get the names. Russell and Craig haven't changed all that much really.
