Not quite sure where this one should go since it is nonsense and it could also go into the ebay thread but since neither the ebay thread or the you tube thread have been shifted to the playpen, I'm putting it here. This made me smile...

That's amazing, Scorpion! Much better than most of what You Tube offers (in my experience).

One of the highlights of our recent holiday on the Argyll coast was a boat trip out to the Corryvreckan. It was a stormy day and although the whirlpool wasn't in full action, it was dramatic enough for landlubbers like ourselves. Hold on tight!

A producer from Uruguay who uploaded a short film to YouTube in November
2009 has been offered a $30m (£18.6m) contract to make a Hollywood film.

The movie will be sponsored by director Sam Raimi, whose credits include
the Spiderman and Evil Dead films.

Fede Alvarez's short film "Ataque de Panico!" (Panic Attack!) featured
giant robots invading and destroying Montevideo, the capital of Uruguay.

It is 4 mins 48 seconds long and was made on a budget of $300 (£186).

So far it has had more than 1.5 million views on YouTube.

"I uploaded (Panic Attack!) on a Thursday and on Monday my inbox was
totally full of e-mails from Hollywood studios," he told the BBC's Latin
American service BBC Mundo.

I found this recently. It's a guy who in the name of 'urban exploration' crawls into storm drains, breaks into disused abattoirs etc and films his adventures for posterity . In this particular film, he crawls through the Figgate Burn tunnel at Rosefield Park, under the High Street to where it emerges in Bridge Street and meets the sea. It's something I've thought about doing myself, so I'm glad he has saved me the trouble!

In other films he explores the abandoned nuclear bomb bunker at Corstorphine, the Barnton Hotel and various other disused and derelict schools, hospitals, factories etc. Interesting stuff.

This was posted recently. It's pretty dull stuff, but it's interesting to see how the Promenade has changed over the last 20 years:
