Wow, the new Postman pat isnt a patch on the Postman Pat when I was young!

Now he has a helicopter and a motorbike!

Oh boy - you do have a way of making those of us "in our prime" feel a little ancient, Michael. I can remember knitting my little niece and nephew matching Postman Pat jumpers - they are in their mid-twenties now...

Still, life has never been the same since the day I realised that Alan from Thunderbirds was actually a puppet and therefore I could not marry him. I must have been about 17 :lol:

Ahh the Thunderbirds, as I was growing up they were always repeated on BBC 2 on Sundays.

Im just chuffed that I aint ancient! In my middle twenties just now and currently thats old enough for me.

Middle twenties "old enough"??

Dear boy, it's never enough.

And Thunderbirds was prime time TV when I was a lass. In black and white, natch. Well, the show was in colour - it was just the TVs weren't. Ever heard of that era???
