Anyone else feel the same about Archie Macpherson and his supposed commentary? Tonight the half-time whistle went, I heard it clearly as did all the players BUT there was the usual delay of about 5 seconds and Archie announced "I think the half-time whistle has gone"- first with the latest news.
Then there was the earthquake analogies; First half he rather excitedly describes the bouncing up and down of the rangers fans as "like being at an earthquake" - what a well timed analogy that was. NOt.
I wrongly assumed that the producer or maybe fraser wishart would have had a word with him at half-time? No!!! At one point in the second half it was like "sitting on top of the san andreas fault". Please oh please can we get rid of this buffoon.
Archie-What a T wa t! (is that word still on the list?)

Originates from 3 NI rangers fans jumping up and down on a Catholic Celtic fan.The lad died.
I sincerely hope that the UK as a whole understand that Rangers fans do not reflect Scottish society.
The collective jumping up and down of fans at football spreads worldwide. The Czech football supporters do it and the translation of what they chant is: "Let's keep warm, let's keep warm, let's hop hop hop."
I wasn't aware that 'The Bouncy' had anything to do with someone being stamped on as Hearts, Hibs, Celtic and Rangers all do it.
I do agree about Archie MacPherson though. I think it's time he retired. Even the pronunciation of foreign players names by him his awful. Rangers were playing a team who had a player called 'Tonnel' in the squad, Archie decieded to rename him "Tae-Nail" amongst other things. There is also John Claude Darch-EEEEE-vEEEEl. I was dreading the final when I saw Arshevin lining up for Zenith!!!
