Shooglenifty

Post by Bob Jefferson » 21 Jan 2008, 20:20

Acid croft, folkadelia, thrash ceilidh, psycho bluegrass - just a few of the terms that have been used to describe the music of Shooglenifty. Intrigued? Then grab a ticket while you can to catch them at Portobello Town Hall on Saturday 16 February.

Full details at: http://porty.org.uk/news/index.php

Shooglenifty formed in 1994 and have played all over the world since then to great acclaim. Although best known as a live act, they have found time to release 6 albums, the latest being 'Troots'.

Guitarist/banjo player Malcolm Crosbie lives in Portobello so this is a homecoming gig for him. Should be a great night.
