Just wondered, Bob, if you've arranged for the Police Station clock to chime at midnight?
I'm likely to want to stay nice and cosy at a friend's house, but, in case the urge to take to the streets takes over, just wanted confirmation that you'd be doing your stuff again.
For whom the bell tolls

Funny you should ask. I've just returned from the police station and the deed has been done, though not without some difficulty. The station is closed as there is no-one to man the assistance desk and I was having problems contacting someone.
Plan B at this stage involved Daniel standing outside the station at midnight with a dinner gong miked through a guitar amp, on the assumption that most people might be too drunk to notice the difference.
But the good news is that we eventually got access and the bell should bong at the appropriate time. Local residents can then look forward to the clock sounding nineteen o'clock for weeks afterwards, as is now custom. Happy to be of service!
