I've just started running the length of the prom in a fitness bid - but can anyone tell me how far in km it is from one end to the other?
Crude use of a ruler and google map gave me either around 2.8k or 2.5k - but i'm hoping somebody knows exactly end to end?
Length of the Prom??

From training earlier this year...
Using Google Earth you can draw out a path and get the length - good for planning!
- Chinese at Joppa end to Cake Stand at bottom of Marlborough St: 1km
Chinese at Joppa end to Kings Rd: 1.75km
Chinese at Joppa end to West end of Prom at Seafield Rd: 3km

Try this site:
http://www.walkjogrun.net/
You enter your postcode and a map of the area comes up. Click on your start point and end point and it will tell you the distance in miles or kilometres. If you know your average speed it will tell you how long it will take you to run it.
(Great site for planning running routes.)
