New arrivals in the BM household.
A beautiful pair of Zebra Finches. They're so cute.
I can't think of names for them and I'm open to (sensible) suggestions.

Socks & Cookie. We can rig a poll if you want - just make sure you decide the result you want.

Unusual names Wangi. I think a pole's a good idea. I'm leaning toward something French at the moment).

Thanks Rapunzell. I really love them. At the moment the two of them are tucked up beside each other in their nest.

I love wee birds bopping around. Currently the garden birds, but those finches look like adorable company indoors!

Unusual names Wangi.
Being on holiday you'll have missed the latest 'scandal' about the BBC rigging a poll BM. Try Google for an explanation.

Oh I get it now. I wondered what Wangi meant by rigging a poll.
I wasn't sure my answer was quite right. I thought I must have missed something somewhere. Thanks Marya

Not sensible (!), but I did think of Hore and Belisha, but maybe not once said aloud!!

Leslie was H-B's first name...Leslie and Belisha, perhaps???

Oh yes there is! Look at the top right corner of the page where it shows two pics from your album.

No it's not Sly. I can post a nice big photo of him to prove it, if you like.
Both wee birdies are fine and are bouncing about as I write.

They are lovely BM, one of my friends used to have a couple years ago and I loved their little" beep beeps", not so piercing as a lot of other bid sounds.
Have you named them yet ? Can't think of anything appropriate.

LOVE the sounds they make.
And Marya's right if you look at the video and your eye strays up to the "next" slide there is a rather lovely snake

A thousand apologies Marya.

I didn't know you were talking about the video. (I didn't know anyone saw those piccies) .Yes that is Sly and it's an old photo of him. He has never at any time been near or even clapped eyes on my we birds (they're kept in seperate rooms).
Had the suggestion of Mork and Mindy as names. I kind of like that (small birds, small names)and I'm considering it, unless some-one comes up with something better.

S'OK BM I suspected we were talking at cross purposes - either that or my snake phobia was growing way out of control!
I've been trying to come up with something suitable in the way of names for your wee birdies, but I'm hopeless at that sort of thing.
Daisy and Dylan? Tess and Tim? Itsy and Bitsy? Caesar and Cleo?
