Yup its a printing error that the school seemed to unaware of. Clanger 4 was trying for 2 days off next week but I've veto'd that, though his arguement thats its there in black and white as holiday on 18th Sept 2007 does hold some weight.
Yes its the extention they're building up at HolyRood. They've taken down quite a few of the trees already. This is the extention that was supposed to have been started when my elder son was there (and he's now 20 )

More than an extension Sd. It is a brand new, L-shaped four storey school, with a single storey sports wing. There'll be pitches as well. The old building will be going.SoupDragon wrote: Yes its the extention they're building up at HolyRood. They've taken down quite a few of the trees already. yes. Our youngest had the idea that his school would be demolished during the summer. He was so disappointed to find they intend building some of the other bits first.
I remember seeing plans when our eldest lad was there , then it was all put on hold due to suggestions of corruption ,so big delay in the work starting. At least they've got the space to be able to do that onsite.

Must be pretty noisy for the kids. A friend of mine, who lives on Milton Road, a fair distance away from the school, said she was aware of the thump of building work as they started on the foundations.
