Can anyone recommend a good upholsterer?
Can anyone recommend a good upholsterer?
My living room sofas are looking rather the worse for wear these days, especially since my cat seems to regard them as scratching posts. However, I'm fond of them and as they are of a good solid construction I'd prefer to get them re-upholstered rather than replace them. I haven't a clue where to start. Any recommendations?

Have you tried the rather wonderful and very useful Portobello Online business directory? I believe in house design offer this service. Not sure about Liz Henderson but you could ask.I'd prefer to get them re-upholstered rather than replace them. I haven't a clue where to start. Any recommendations?

That was nice of you. I'll remember to show the same consideration the next time I see you the worse for wearBob Jefferson wrote:Yes, I'd noticed but didn't like to mention it.Marya wrote:My living room sofas are looking rather the worse for wear these days

In-house design look as if they're after a different sort of business. I don't really want my whole room re-designed, just a new set of covers and my feathers fluffed up.
