VIP's here today, who are they?

At the Maybury junction this afternoon (3pm) a motorbike police escort stopped all traffic to allow some posh cars through. They went along that road that leads to a golf course (so I'm told). Who were they? It's bugging me & I can't find anything in the news. Thanks in advance.

Probably royalty flying out of the old bit of the airport that they still use for private planes ...certainly never see them in the departure lounge

Just seems odd to me, no one knows they're here, but they require a police escort to get through the town.
