No, not the smarmy former Radio 1 DJ unfortunately but diamond geezer Frank Butcher.

Anyone else remember him as the host of Runaround? Perhaps they'll do a re-runaround in honour of his memory.
Or not.

I read a piece in the Sundays a few weeks ago about a still to be screened reality TV show called "The Baron" featuring ex-Mike Reid, some burd and Malcolm McLaren. The object was for the three of them to win votes from the locals in some Scottish fishing village to become their Baron. The baronial title was bought up by the TV company and then the three candidates sent in amongst the locals to stake their claims.
It sounds promising with Malcolm p issing the community off to the point he was being threatened on a daily basis.

I'll be watching.

RIP Frank Butcher. A style icon.

I read about the Talcy thing too. The community is ultra-religious apparently, and I vaguely remember that he was removed from the stage at a village fete or something, while shouting "Jesus is a sausage!"
