Yeah, I went to look at it again with my friend. And the whole underneath is rotten. Bit of a shame

You luck ......person. Had one many moons ago and it was fantastic. It did the rounds of the UK many times summer and winter.
One memorable holiday was in Aviemore in the snow - there is nothing better than making and eating your ready brek in your camper - while still in your bed and then heading up the slopes. Beats a dodgy B&B any day.

My sister used to have a VW camper and 7 of us spent two weeks touring Scotland in it in 1987. It was a great laugh. It's amazing how much you can pack into one

The knickers weren't the problem - it was the nappies. We buried one under a Cairn in Skye along with the babygro

. As far as I remember we brought the baby back with us.

We did feel a wee bit guilty because it's not a very eco-friendly thing to do

. However, the choice was between confusing future archaeologists or taking the most minging nappy/babygro you could ever, ever imagine and living with it in a VW camper van overnight - I rest my case

. The baby happily was washable and came up like new. Funnily enough she now shovels s**t for a living
