How come talkporty has spellcheck on my PC at home but not on this one at work

Probably the browser your using doesn't have a spellcheck plug in, I don't think the forum spellchecks posts itself

So the forum does have a spellchecker? Now I think about it I downloaded firefox a few weeks ago, at home. I only noticed spellcheck on saturday.

Nope, forum doesn't care itself. The spell checking is a browser feature, and it's one which Firefox has (underlines misspelt words with red).
