Trades Friday Bunk Off Anyone?

Post by Porty » 29 Jun 2007, 12:49

I'm a bit bored and feel like bunking off.

There's nothing like the last day of school before the summer holidays. There is a tangible feel of freedom in the air. I feel like, and am very close to, downing tools and going to the pub.

30 years ago today at almost exacctly this time; myself, my fellow sixth years and a drizzle of fifth years were heading up to the sheeps heid for a farewell.

10, 9 8, 7 ....

Go for it!

I started my bunk off at 10 am yesterday. No work for me until 15th August.
I'm rather happy today. Have a few for me, will you?

I put my red pen down at 3.30 yesterday, though strangely it didn't feel like the normal end of term; my third year class worked away on their essays without the expected pleas for DVDs or games. Perhaps it has something to do with the lack of sunshine?

However, on picking my son up from Primary school today the playground was full of crying girls, kids wearing white shirts scrawled over in felt tip and school bags being launched into the air. Much better!

Have one for me too Porty 8)

Yes....well.....we've got to get there first  . Between my map reading and the other one's inability to take instructions within a reasonable time limit - it could take a while :?
