Help! Cattery required in July - Edinburgh & surrounds

Help! We need to find a space for our cat from 6 - 29 july in a cattery or kennel. If anyone is or knows a cattery/kennels owner that has a space/has had a cancellation, please let me know. We have been let down by person that was going to look after our cat and we are desperate!! He is fully vaccinated and neutered etc. Thanks! We will travel for a space so outside Edin would be fine.

My son works in kennels near Bathgate but he says that they are fully booked for the next few months.
There are two catteries in Linlithgow you could try.

Have you thought about getting a cat sitter in? I've used them before and it means that the cat is in familiar surroundings and someone's checking the house. I don't think it works out any more expensive than kennels.

There used to be a couple of local ones.

The cat and dog home at seafield also have boarding kennels. I've entrusted my 2 Tonkinese delinquents to them before!

Just a couple of ideas.

Check out this catsitter based in Dalkeith, I have not actually used them myself but my son uses them all the time and can highly recommend.

The boy who runs the cattery next door to Lothian Cat Rescue, he is really good!
