Part 1 - Takeover. By our reporter Damon Nettles.

Shock and awe echoed around Hopesprings Park tonight as the identities of the new ownership consortium were revealed to eagerly awaiting fans who had been waiting all day to hear the ownership changeover news.

The new owners are a consortium of recently cloned figures from history - Adolf Hitler and Robert Maxwell both hold a 30% stake, and Mao Tse Tung coming in as the new chairman completes this new ownership triumvirate.

We spoke to Michael Absalom who heads up the Scumchester fans forum. A lifelong supporter, Michael was forthright in his views of this takeover.

"The important question on the lips of every fan tonight is how much money will be spent on new players. We will be judging Hitler, Maxwell and Mao on this all-important decision of whether to buy the much-needed Moses Bueno and to hold off on the sale of the underplayed talent of Everest Kingsley."

We spoke to Moses Bueno, the newly discovered talent from Vanuatu and he said through his interpreter "it has always been an ambition of mine to play for Scumchester FC"
