Taxi Outing

I hope everyone will be out on the High Street on Tuesday to wave or have the waterguns,water ballons,to soak , the kids on one of the highlights of the year.

We will have lots of water in the taxi so please bring a brolly you might need it.

I will wave and soak anyone in Porty so see you all there

Can I also say thankyou to all the taxi drivers who make this day so much fun for the kids and all the adults.I sometimes think the drivers are worse than the kids when it comes to the water.

I mind getting soaked near Findlays one year, totally drookit, but the kids had fun
I may be a bit busy on Tuesday but will wave if I get a chance to get to the High St

When I worked in the High Street our boss used to let us all go out and wave to the kids when they passed - too far away to do that now. Hope you have a great day and the weather is kind to you.

What you forgot to mention though Epy if I remember rightly is we had to make up the time spent waving to the kids at the end of the day

What a super boss we had back then

Those of us who work at Meadowbank House need only the slightest of excuses to down tools and rush to the window for a gawp.

The building visibly lists as staff charge to the windows to look at snowflakes, heavy rain, helicopters, shiny objects etc.

Izzie, you can rest assured there'll be lots of folks looking out and wishing the kids a happy day but only the evil smokers up on the front street will be within reach of your fiendish water-based japes.

Please give as many of these weak, smelly sorts as good a soaking as you can.

It'll give those of us stuck inside something else to gawp at once the taxis have gone past.

We are due to leave murryfield about 10 so could be in Porty about 10.45 or 11 but it depends on how wet we get in the carpark.

If it rains as it does this just adds to the fun,we all get a bit more soaked and the kids don't seem to mind

We are really looking forward to it, water guns and water ballons are at the ready been to cosco and got the sweets

just watched them all go by , loved the taxi that pulled in at the bus stop for the kids to schoosh the people waiting there , The army trailer seemed to having the most fun! does't it put things into prospective , you realise how lucky we are. Laughed n cried .At least it's dry , hope it stays that way. Enjoy the rest of your day , I know some who are going to .

Well all I have to say about today is

Thankyou to all the drivers who made this day FANTASTIC

These taxis are off the road for about two days as they have to dress the cab the night before and are getting a good clean and dried out tonight before the are back on the road in the morning

The kids had a ball and once more so did the drivers.

When we stopped at Lucas for the icecream and toilet stop I would have to say a big thankyou again to all the local shops there for the use of all the toilets to let us mums change into dry clothes.
