Volleyball hits Porty beach

Now this really annoys me. If we had a bit more notice we could have helped to promote this event. But did anyone tell us about it?

Marya - go get 'em!

You'll be glad to know, Novastar, that bikinis were not in evidence. At least, not when I went past.

Not much eye candy for the laydees either, really.

Did not resemble the babe/hunk fest we are used to seeing on TV from Bondi Beach! :(

Been trying to get some more info on Life's a beach as Porty hosts opening event to no avail.

There's a photo gallery here , however, of last year's events on Porty beach.

p.s.
David, who delivers my fortnightly bag of organic veg, told me he was listening to Radio Forth this week when two painters phoned in to say they were enjoying the view of some young women frolicking topless in the waves at Porty beach  Brrr!
How come Rathbone, our beach correspondant, doesn't know about this?

The Porty media team was out in force. Apart from wangi, I spotted Peter Ross from the Portobello Reporter and I was there as well for Portobelly Telly. Should have a short video clip up later tonight.

They were setting up when I left porty baths after my gruelling Body Attack class this morning at 9.15am. They were still going strong when we walked bess later in the afternoon, shame the weather couldn't have been better but at least it didn't rain :D

There was when I went past!
Lovely it was too....
