Ouch!!!!

Fell down the stairs yesterday afternoon and hert my arm. There was a lot of gritting of teeth I can tell you (and no I didn't swear).
Still a bit sore but I'm sure I'll survive.
I'll have to as Mr. BM and I are going through to help the youngest snakeling and partner start decorating today.

Many sympathies and gentle cyber hugs.

Try Arnica cream for the bruising and Ibuprofen tablets for the pain, also has anti inflammatory properties.

Thanks Soupdragon. I put Lavender oil on it last night and it seems to have stopped it going black at least.
I will have a look for Arnica cream today.

I did something like this a few years back, I fell down my stairs and bumped the side of my hip on each step (21). I had a bruise the size of a small island which went a bit septic and I ended up going to the docs, who prescribed anti biotics and special cream to reduce the bruising. When I went to Allans the chemist to collect my medicine, (it was busy at the time) I asked if the cream would work. The very loud, or so it seemed at the time, reply came back, "for your piles? - definitely"

You learn something new every day.

I had a bruise like that once, but I didn't fall down the stairs, someone tried to break my arm

No alcahol involved just me, the stairs and a vaccum cleaner. Two words come together perfectly with me in mind. They are accident and Prone.

Did have a wee drink much later on when Mr BM saw my arm. The kind sould poured me a lovely glass of absinthe (delicious)
