Robin Of Sherwood

The hooded man.

Dum dum.

Clannad's finest moment, and a choice slice of 80s telly. This has been showing on ITV3 - last night saw guest star Rula Lenska as a Satanic nun.

You know where you are with an episode of this show - gang in forest, villagers need help, bit of mysticism, guy in a mask with horns, one of them gets captured, love interest, escape and fight with guards, all wrapped up in an hour.

They axed it with unresolved stuff - leaving us the rest of our lives to put Robin's angst that Marion had gone into a convent in the same headspace as when the Tripods ended. Grr.

I'm going to get that Clannad album anyways. Roooooooobin. The hooded man. DUM DUM.

Ah, remember it well from the first time round, had videos of it some where.
Never thought the new Robin that they were showing end of last year matched it one iota.
Got the cd and even a track or two on mp3
I'd offer to burn you a copy but that might breech copyright rules

It's ok. If I were going to get hold of "Legend" by Clannad I most certainly wouldn't currently have it on download, probably be finished when I get home. Cos I wouldn't do owt like that.

It was a shame Michael Praed succumbed to the lure of Hollywood and 80s mega series. Left Sherwood for the large shoulder pads and glamour only to be killed off in the "we've got to cut costs" assasination at the wedding!
