Thought I'd start a thread for you people who want to talk about rugby. Carry on........I'm trying to organise a game of football over there.

Bring on Wales! Don't think the SRU will have a problem getting a sellout for the England game now.....although the ticket prices are still exorbitant.

Decided to call it a night at a civilisd hour having been out straight from Murryfield - what a day!

Town surprisingly quiet though, wiht only relatively subdued Frenchmen to be found in the pubs of the Grassmarket :lol:

Roll on next week against Cardiff. Although with my flight home being at 18:£0 and the game finsihing an hour or so earlier, if we win again like theat I may be struggling to get home.... :)

Fantastic result. I was sitting in the french section, one of them asked me, before the game, if I was a masochist, i made sure I shook his hand at the end. :lol: :lol: All good sport.

What a great performance by Scotland.

Mr Lizzie and I will be celebrating down there no doubt.

Once again unbelieveable stuff. Couldn't go through that last ten minutes very often though - nailbiting stuff.

When we went six points ahead I thought it was all set for "glorious defeat" with England scoring a try with something like two milliseconds left to play to snatch victory by a point but thankfully not. When Dan Parks scored a drop goal I started to believe - if that can happen anything can happen.

Makes my £10 on Scotland to win the 6 Nations at 50/1 quite interesting....

I still have happy memories of when I were a lad and used to go to Murrayfield and watch Scotland win the grand slam. Now those were the days :D . Pity about Wales, but at least England have bitten the dust.

Oh dear. What a difference a year makes.

I've got very mixed feelings about this one. Homer had placed a bet, not only for England to win but to do so by a margin of 21 - 25 points. Suspect I won't see him until chucking out time tonight! :roll:
