The colours in the last one are very nice - such a vivid burnt brown - and the sea looks like an oil slick!!!!

Wow Wangi ! Very messianic with the sea rolling back and the opening in the clouds above

I've run out of superlatives. What a stunning shot!!

I think we should fund a photo book of Wangi's best shots.

One of my many uncles was a sports photog on the Dalkeith News before I was born ... great snapper ... unfortunately, it's a talent that does not run in the family ... and I just point and click and end up being criticised anyway ...

So it's good to see photog talent is still out there. You should seriously consider a coffee table book of Porty Photies, Wangi and Daddio! Do a poll to find out what everyone thinks. I'd buy a copy.

Okay ... but they can do wonders with make-up these days. Bob might be a master of disguises for all we know.

So I think my question is still legitimate.

Thought I'd put in a couple of nice " sunny" pics of Linlithgow palace, St Michaels Church and the Loch on this dull, dreary day!!!! :(
They were taken at the end of June.

S'OK arachnid it was really Bob I was having a go at. He was the one who came up with the rule in the first place

Really enjoyed your pics BTW. I haven't been to Linlithgow Palace for years. I remember getting a wee insight into how things must have been at the Royal court when I saw the 'vomitorium'.

Midlothian had an open doors day recently so I went to visit Penicuik house. The pictures are a slightly bigger
than what the rules allow, so here are the links

No, what a shame they couldn't have left it that way!!
It's the same as here in Linlithgow, if there's an empty space it has to be built on!!!
They keep building houses and we're more in need of a car park so that visitors to the town have somewhere to park while they visit Linlithgow's sights!!!
