OK, I vote for a quiz amnesty for the rest of the day or my wife is going to kill me.

Thank you Marya.

I would like to know what the participants thought of this quiz though ... no-one's said anything negative or positive. Like ... do I go on with putting them together??

Was it too hard, too easy, just right. I need feedback!

Cheers! :)

Infuriating, maddening, exasperating, futille, a complete waste of time and effort, silly, meaningless, pointless.......I loved it.

I think Quiz 3 looked much easier than 1&2 and I'm sure it's not just because the answers are published and I didn't take part

Your quizzes are brilliant Cleopas, keep up the good work

Maybe we could have a pre-planned quiz evening, where we designate a night and a time and encourage as many people as possible join in from the start

You've definitely got the forum buzzing again after a fairly barren summer :D

Thank you all for your input ... I just needed to know if the level of play was okay to fix a standard. ( ) Relatively speaking!

I'm planning to extend my range from place-names to other things, but they won't be anywhere near Dadaist's level. The way I see it , his quizzes are more specialised. He's Mastermind ... I'm 15 to 1 ... sorta.

If the mods want to agree on a time and date for the next time ... just let me know.

For now, I just want a quiet weekend to read and vegetate on the crappy telly. I LOVE the X-Factor auditions ... hate the last 10 or whatever ... but the auditions are always fun. :D

I'm all for more of your quizzes Cleopas, I like a mixture of some easy and some real b*****s to get you really frustrated. I might not be very good but I don't give up easily. I don't use my brain very much these days so it's getting some exercise. I haven't been doing crosswords or Sudoku for a while either.
A pre- planned quiz night sounds good.

I love the auditions for X-Factor too so I'll be hooked for the next few weeks

I got so bored today I've been working out and hoarding up more and more clues to wonderful, wacky and spaced-out place names from all over. I'll limit it to 25 questions at a time from now on though ... :D

Okay ... get ready. I'll be posting up placename quiz #4 just before 7pm tonight! There's 30 questions ... and it's a bit of a spin on what we've done recently ... so get your thinking caps on ... fingers poised to google (cos you'll probably have to unless you're all absolutely too-good-for-Mensa geniusses) ... and may the best person win!!!

The countdown has started!
