I watched him (again) on Andrew Marr's (is he from Porty?) show this morning. I realised that if I listen to David for 1 minute, 5, 10 or 15 minutes, I can't recall a single thing he said. Zilcho. Has anyone else noticed this?

I think he (the ex-Weegie, Marr, not Cameron) did live in Porty during his days as a "Scotsrag" hack. He also wrote for the "Evening Rag".

Cameron continues on his merry way to be a Blair clone and is capable of switching you off (in person) at fifty paces. On TV and Radio ... my hand is at the remote to switch off as soon as he starts. Who wants to hear a lot that says nothing and yet drones on like a weary set of bagpipes?? Once again, my hand twitches to reach for my ancestral assegai.

BTW ... Assegai is a Scots word for a spear, adopted by King Dingaan of Kwazulu-Natal. When he was told the magic word for killing his enemy by throwing a spear, he was amazed how it worked. It seems you grip your spear, point it at the intended victim and whisper "assegai" to the spear ... which then never misses.
