Osteopaths

Post by Novastar » 11 Apr 2006, 21:10

Hello all...

Does anyone know any good Osteopaths in Edinburgh (phone numbers, emails, web sites, etc)

Probably haven't spelt that right - I mean the people who can sort your back out when you've screwed it up (which I've done).

Cheers

J

Poor Novastar.

Some time ago, I had a few sessions with a Dr. Paul Barratt who has his surgery on Dalkeith Road.
He came very highly recommended and many friends and colleagues at my work have had dealings with him. I had 4 sessions with him with amazing results.

Good luck.

<a href="http://www.caledonianphysiotherapy.com/">Caledonian Physiotherapy</a>
at Trinity, Craihall Road

First Class treatment and do employment blocks if your covered through work.

I have been to them on several ocassions about my back. There are quite a few folk in that firm who look after the international teams and Commonwealth teams.

Highly recommended

Before you go paying out for this service with a Private Clinic check out there is not a Osteopath within your Doctors Surgery, this happened to me.

I paid out handsomely and then mentioned to my Doctor and he said " we provide this service within the Surgery, cancelled the remaining appointments and had the rest of the Treatment for free.

Just wondered if Novastar got fixed up with an osteopath. My husband has used Paul Barratt, on Dalkeith Road. He was impressed!

No - with Easter it's all been a bit manic and backs better (ish) now. Hoping to get something through GP as I've found the Edinburgh Osteo's do a surgery there.

Another thing to sort out next week..

I'm waiting for an appointment at an orthopaedic clinic, which I have been led to believe will involve a bit of hands on manipulation...

I'll let you know what it was like.

some time after the waiting list has come down a bit...
