for at least 5 minutes, I have trawled the net in an exhaustive search for a smiley that indicates that some magnolians, some magnoliettes and some extended clan magnolians are quite excited and hoping to attend this event in a twirl of associated tartan tat.

I have failed, though, and I hope that it is not because we are estuarine swine, or substandard coastal humans...

Yay...I've been told I'm going (not asked, you understand), although nobody mentioned tartan tat to me.
If only I could still fit in my primary school uniform, that would fit the bill nicely, because naturally a school in Derbyshire must have Royal Stuart tartan for its uniform. Makes perfect sense. And I did fit in it until I was 24.

Anyway, glad I'll be seeing some magnolians and ettes. :D

In answer to Mr Magnolia's question re ticket price for children, it's £5 but free for tiny ones (haven't quite thought of a cut-off point for this). Maybe I should consult.

OK here are the ticket prices for children:

Under 5 years old - free
5-12 year olds - £2
12-16 year olds - £5

So, it should be an affordable night for those who want to bring children unless you bring a troupe of teenagers. What is the collective noun for teenagers anyway? (I could think of a few.)

It's a "Boredom" of teenagers.

Alternatively, an "Embarrassment" of teenagers.

Yes, maybe I should have said a "whatever" of teenagers.

Bar only but it'll be cheap. And it won't be too expensive to bring the bairns (see my earlier post).
