Portobello Flickr

I am becoming addicted to Flickr. On Monday night, when the haar was strong, I took my new camera out for a spin.

I've created a public group on Flickr called Portobello for, guess what, photographs of Portobello!

I see any really great ones added to the group's pool, I'll post a comment here.

What a great idea! I love flickr too - it's amazing, like rummaging through a drawerfull of stranger's photos. I've joined the group to keep up to date, but I'm afraid my own photos aren't particularly artistic although I'll try to make an effort (I'm kelliepie).

A good way of keeping my 2 yr old daughter amused while I'm emailing or whatever, is to show a flicks slideshow of something she's interested in, eg

I tried replacing 'rabbits' with 'portobello+edinburgh' the other day, and the results were interesting. Loads of random holidaymakers snapshots, and even a pic of me, which was weird.
