Surely he got a new widget for his camera for his Chrissie present and wants to show it off?

Anyways, it's been a month and I for one have sunset withdrawl - since leaving Marlborough St, BB and I increasingly miss the prom and the beach.

I got a lovely sunrise picture on my mobile the other morning, all reds and oranges and suchlike  . Thought at the time that would be nice if Wangi was out getting a proper piccie of it - my mobile's all right, but hardly David Bailey.

Btw, do you know my name should really have been David Bailey, all goes back to a couple of hundred years ago and one ancestor getting someone pregnant he shouldn't have. Another relative of mine, from America, is right into gynaelogy (sp?).......anyway, I digress.

POL's law : No matter what the subject of the thread, it will soon turn into smut, puns and in-jokes.

You win, Wangi!

How so clear..? Surely not handheld? Mine was shot at 800ASA (as fast as my digital goes) but was hampered by being a relatively slow lens -- f2.8.
I don't believe in Beatles.

Both great but I like Dakota's best (sorry Wangi, very close second!). Almost makes me feel Christmassy :D
Enough of your nonsense - get back to the Play Pen!

Knowing what an established photographer Dakota is, I know he won't mind if I plump for the black & white lights (fantastic idea and execution) as my favourite.

Nah, I took the tripod into town especially... Was pleased with these ones in 2004:

That last one is stunning - makes the monument look like a space rocket about to take off ...

The one of the monument is fantastic Wangi. Can't you sell them as postcards?
