gratuitous corporate freebies

Post by Dadaist » 08 Dec 2005, 11:51

I got some gratuitous corporate freebies from a government counter-fraud organization roadshow :

1. counter-fraud mug which changes colour when you put hot liquid in it (i assume this "shows up" fraud)

2. counter-fraud mobile phone holder *which flashes when your phone rings* which prominently displays the counter-fraud hotline

3. counter fraud *shoe shine*, i kid you not, with the legend "together we can stamp out fraud". i actually thought it was one of those sponge things you moisten stamps on.

4. 2 counter-fraud pens - one which came with the freebie pack of guff and one which was given out with the counter-fraud questionnaire

5. counter-fraud stress toy - in the shape of a telephone. with the counter-fraud hotline number on it

6. counter-fraud sewing kit - no "stitch up" jokes please

7. 2 counter-fraud mug mats

8. counter-fraud mouse mat

9. leaflets, lots of.

you may comment on this use of your tax money, i couldn't possibly!!!

It's important to be able to identify if someone is trying to pass off a cold cup of tea as a hot one.

Although it's normally hot things people try to pass off :? .
