Got back from Doncaster yesterday afternoon!
Well, ecm, not sure that you'd call it exciting but went with hubby to Doncaster for the National Budgie Show, :x Dadaist would've loved it!!!!
Once you've walked round a hall full of budgies to see how they're placed it gets a bit boring though!!! So I managed to opt out of going to the show and went shopping instead, a much better way to spend the day!!!
The reason that I go at all is that I get a whole weekend away from home!
and a few nice meals out in the evenings!!
It's very entertaining going back to our hotel afterwards, taking in the sights as we call them! Seeing all the people going clubbing on these cold nights!! There were we wrapped up from the cold, big jackets, scarves, gloves etc., and there were all the clubbers with skimpy tops, short skirts, no coats, dressed for summer!!!! They must've had all sorts of frozen bits!!!
Anyway had a great weekend, spent lots of money( there's a good market there too!). So now it's back to normal again sadly!!

Dada's idea of a nightmare, no doubt. Glad you had a good break.

Young folks don't feel the cold apparently.

Who's a pretty boy then???? And the wee fellow's o.k. too!!!

I do quite enjoy going to the budgie shows, but when we've been to so many, sometimes I like to have a wee change, and hit the shops or something instead!!!!
