Beer Garden - Forresters

Post by Zargonian » 15 Jul 2005, 10:25

A beer garden in the Forresters, lovely!
Should be sorted in time for the smoking ban to come into play.
In the middle of Winter.
"So spin that wheel, cut that pack!
And roll those loaded dice
Bring on the dancing girls,
And put the champagne on ice"

I didn't think there was enough space behind forresters for a beer garden!
I am sure the neighbouring residents will be pleased about this :(

Hope they hire a big enough skip to get rid of all the bits and pieces 'stored' there just now! :D

But at least it's sheltered

If I was a neighbour of the Forest Arms, I'd sell! Sell! Sell! now! now! now!
Beer gardens sounds nice but take it from me it will be hell on earth for the people who live in the vicinity. A sunny day will start ok but as it goes on, the customers voices will get louder and on a good day the afternoon will be finished with a loud tuneless sing songs , loud and offensive language and if your really lucky a domestic. The domestic more than likely coming from your own house?
I have a beer garden at the back of my flat on the promenade and tasteful white plastic table and chairs under my front window from the Tides Inn.
That's my experience but others may have a different experience.

Wouldn't make a nice beer garden IMO. Bit dingy and is surrounded by either the pub and flats above or a wall. :?
