First impression after moving to Joppa/Portobello was, that this ugly landscape-destroyer should be leveled to the ground, and the architect who allowed to build this monster - hanged in a front of Town Hall. Unfortunatelly my view from kitchen goes this direction. Second ugly thing is this horrible powerplant.
What do You think about it? I this topic is already discussed - sorry. I am under influence of emotions:)

Its only 9 floors and like you say the views are awesome. I remember when I used to sell properties we got one of the flats in there to sell. It was really difficult to put a price on it. A 7th floor flat in the only Joppa skyscraper.
Anyway, it sold in one week for such a good price more neighbours were persuaded to sell.
This leads me to conclude that these flats are desirable places to live for many people.
