There are still a number of suggestions outstanding from earlier threads. The front runners are:

Like the sound of "The Man in the High Castle" even though I don't read much S.F.

Might be heavy going tho'.

I'm a fan of the crime genre too, so easy whatever is decided.........

Anyone prepared to name the pub in chapter 7 with the racist punters and landlord? Other clues are that Rebus has just walked up on to the High Street from what seems to be John Street and it's the nearest pub; they sell IPA and had been serving soup and stovies earlier because he could smell them. Given that Rebus left his drink untouched and headed for the door, it might have been the Figgate Whins!

Well, I finished Fleashmarket Close last night and an enjoyable read it was too!

Given the frenzied activity on this thread, I thought I'd better check whether anyone else is reading this month, or do you all want an extension into March?

Just found out yesterday that Fleshmarket is not out in paperback until 4th March. I am definitely too mean to pay Ã‚Â£17.99 for the hard back copy so I'm waiting
