Aerotone

Post by Bob Jefferson » 26 Jan 2005, 21:53

I have just booked my first aerotone (a Victorian prototype jacuzzi) session at Porty Pool. Has anyone tried it before?

Yes, had tried it a few times many moons ago. Really enjoyed it. Odd experience at first when you sit in the cyliner in the floor but it's very powerful and I came out feeling most relaxed like I'd had an overall massage.

Hope you enjoy it! :D

Bob, did you actually go to the aerotone? If you did, did you like it?

I did and I enjoyed it very much. An attendant fills the bath for you and makes sure the water is just the right temperature and depth for you and you are then left to enjoy it for the next hour. It's quite a long time to sit in a bath but you can get out and take a break or go for a quick swim if you like.

Your whole body is given a good pummelling and if you have any wobbly bits they are well wobbled.

I get the impression it is not used much but I think it is great that it has survived so long and it is an experience I am happy to recommend.
